The Office of the State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, Goa is proud to present the 'Purple Fest: Celebrating Diversity'.

Brought to you in association with the Directorate of Social Welfare, Entertainment Society of Goa, Goa Tourism Development Corporation and Information & Publicity Department, Govt. of Goa

This is first-of-its-kind inclusive festival in India that embraces and celebrates persons with disabilities. The Purple Fest aims to showcase how we can come together to create a welcoming and inclusive world for everyone.

Why Purple?

In recent years, the colour Purple has been increasingly associated with disability, symbolising a new positive narrative about the contribution of persons with disabilities in the workforce and the wider community.
