Hi, My name is Bhuvaneshwari. I finished my vocational training in Diya Foundation. Before coming to Diya I was going to Vathsalya Special Educational School, HAL. I used to go Vathsalya by schools Van. During that time I was not able to mingle with others , always wanted to sit alone and think of something. Later showed some interest in drawing, painting and was performing in the cultural events thereafter. Later i joined Diya, first few days I was dependent on my mother and sister to drop me there and was scared of everyone.
After some days I adjusted myself with friends and teachers. Every teachers took care of us and they treated us like their own children. They taught us day to day activities like cleaning, sweeping and made us to do exercise, dance and singing to make us refreshfull and stress less which made us happy and the best part of the day. I also learnt to do Chocolate wrapping.
For birthdays they made cakes for us. Later after few days of training and practice I got opportunities from Enable India for employability training , then got selected .I learnt Car washing, hospitality training .Next went for training in Hattie Kaapi, there i learnt cooking, cleaning, billing in computer. After my training i finally I got a job in Hattie Kaapi, Indiranagar. My colleagues there are very friendly. My senior teach me all things. My working hours is from 7.00am to 5.00pm. I do OT also and I supporting my family . Now i am a independent girl. I take this opportunity to thank everyone who made me so strong and had been supportive to make me stand on my own legs.
