Inclusive education is a new approach to education that emphasizes providing access to education for all children, both with disabilities and without, under the same roof.This Think Tank will debate if inclusive education is the solution to improve language acquisition among the deaf children and what is an effective model of providing equal and quality education to the deaf children in an inclusive classroom. 

Most of us today don't blink an eyelid when we talk to Alexa or talk to our phones to make a call. But did you know that the same technology has also enabled access and inclusion for persons with disabilities? Technology has changed the lives of persons with disabilities in more ways than one. And yet, it also holds the potential of becoming the biggest discriminator. Assistive Technology when utilized effectively can make education inclusive and accessible. And yet if assistive technology centres start being treated as ends in themselves to inclusive education, it can create the biggest barrier. The session will touch upon these and many other ideas to enable the audience to start their journey in using the power of AT in their respective environments

By sharing examples of best practices, the session will highlight how the main components of the National Education Policy 2020 such as Early Childhood Care and Education, Foundational Literacy and Numeracy, Curriculum and Pedagogy and Teacher training is a huge boost for truly inclusive school education. 

Discussions around Inclusive education tend to limit themselves to success stories. Understanding the challenges and practical solutions of ground-level projects in India is key to helping a wider range of educators adopt inclusive education practices. The panel discussion will highlight the ground-level challenges and solutions that have enabled the organizations that the panellists represent to implement successful inclusive education models. The panel represents diverse experiences of special schools, Inclusive schools and colleges, premier technical institutes, and user experiences.

The session will bring together personalities who have engaged with sport at the highest level and at the same time have experienced disability very close. The discussion will delve into the opportunities and possibilities that sport throws up to celebrate recognize and enjoy people with disability. The moderator himself a person who has been involved with disability at a global level will be engaging with other persons with disabilities who are highly recognized and decorated sporting personalities.
